  1. Great saw alot of power but the steel base plate sucks. Mine bent slightly And cuts are now slightly off . Dont buy any circ saw with a steel base plate

I had one it lasted a year, the angle and depth lock were loose after 4 months and after 12 months the blade spins but as soon as you touch the cutting material it stops like its lost torque or somethings come undone inside. But i will admit i used it daily because its compact but it just needed to have more depth to cut 3×2. For battens and ply its fine. I love Dewalt but the tools are not durable anymore and lack power compared to milwaukee, flex etc. 😢
