I just did this outside on a windy day. 😅 I had a thin beach umbrella to sheild from the neverending Texas sun, over the area for shade, which kept blowing inside out. All my clear films blew away. So put your kit inside your car. 😅. So far: Success. It is outside curing as we speak. Night and day difference. I did end up dripping the liquid over the area and have the plastic film that I hunted for and finally found. 😅

I never seen this stuff work, anyone can put a flat sticky with some glue scrape it off, look no crack, becouse it was never cracked,

Good video, the reviews on the websites are not reflecting the product quality so much as people not following the instructions or not being observant as to the resin chamber torque vs rubber seal engagement or because the pressure driver lifts the resin chamber off of the windshield, breaking the seal and losing the pressure needed to force the methacrylate adhesive into the crack lines and chip voids.
I just repaired two cracks based on this video and my own observations and it took around 10 minutes per chip/crack location just to take a picture of the repaired damage (because it was so difficult to locate and identify). I used the car windshield defroster to warm up the windshield after leaving it in the sun before the repair. Moved it into the shade to do the repair, and kept the defroster running since the outside air temp was around 50F and it was clear that the crack lines were not being filled for the first 6+ minutes. After redoing the seal and the pressure driver and adding a few more drops within a few minutes it was definitely filling the crack lines and becoming difficult to see the old damage.
Permatex is better…
The kit has a smell don’t open it in the house.

How do clean the plunge
I mostly use the permatex one.And I like that they completely seal around the chip area, apply a vacuum to withdraw air, and then the syringe applys force. I’m not sure if this reynex won does any of that quite as good. Does it seal around the chip and apply a vacuum at all?

Okay I went to three different glass shops One will call me back, Two said they could not do it because it was double pane? three wanted $190.00! So I got this kit and did it myself. But I over tightened it, and it broke one leg off the sucked cup.
Good for chips, but for cracks of any length…just replace the windshield. Not a knock against the product, but crsck that runs across the windshield is, as I found out, apparently notvwhat it was designed to repair. It did stop it from getting worse though…

Looks like it didnt work very well for the bigger crack… Probably only good for small ones.
You should of not been able to see the cracks at all once filled with resin. As a repair tech , I highly don’t recommend this brand at least I get what you’re trying to do so you feeling it will stop the runs but in reality it should also make the whole thing disappear once the resin is correctly in the cracks. Another point to remember is once this happened try to do this right away because once you put any kind of rain X or take it through a car washwater and dirt and debris gets in there. You’re gonna see little black specks once it is filled.
Didn’t work. Errant instructions say to repeat the wrong steps, and the cheap plastic suction cup legs broke off mid repair. I’m sure I got things too tight but that is what happens when the instructions aren’t accurate, and they don’t mention that tightening the pressure driver will also tighten the resign chamber more. It also didn’t help that they put the clear sheets inside the instructions so they fall and get dirty before you even start.
I had a spider web type crack(can only feel it form outside) and it’s about 3-4 inches at longest crack. Would this work and be good for my car’s lifetime?
Did you only use the little sheet for the chips? And not the suction?
