  1. The sockets you are referring to as standard are actually called imperial you guys actually changed it because you didn’t want to be British anymore

  2. Slight thought for me is when I can’t bring that loaded single pack out up an enclosure and so I need to make a couple trips because of weight. Really smart idea bud. Good thinking

  3. Lol, I’m rocking Harbour freight tools in my packout. But I’m not a mechanic and only use packout to hold crap for working on my truck off road if needed.

  5. Milwaukee sockets and ratchets are ok, there are far better tools as far as quality and ruggedness. I dont buy everything red as neither do the Amish that build pole barns for a living. Not everything red is the best.

  6. Why does Milwaukee not make them like this? It’s quite annoying how so many of their pack out pieces require modifications to be convenient.

  7. Nice, millwakee should cut u a check for the idea, once they start mass producing thses….. im just saying LOLπŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

  8. I started using the packout system because it was a great idea in theory. In reality it just makes everything bulky and take up wayyyyyy too much space. What should be a small duffel bag of tools turns into a 10 foot tower… The only item I still use is the backpack and even that is not a great storage solution. The pockets don’t have any rhyme or reason, and once you start actually using the big pocket, you are no longer able to access the little tool organizer pockets. But if you just pretend the organization pockets don’t exist, even though that’s the entire point of it, she’s a strong school style backpack with some Xtra plastic on the bottom

  9. That is a fantastic little kit that has some punch to it. That’s the tool kit that should be in every truck!!!πŸ›»

  10. Diesel mechanic/welder of 31 years here, great hack my friend! If you ever upgrade to snap-on,Mac,or matco,in the future then make sure you keep the original foam or plastic that they come in because if you buy them later on, they are astronomically expensive!

  11. I’m about to do this with the 1/2” drive socket set and the 3/8” and 1/4”. Keep them all in one case.
